Buying a period home in Waterloo
Lenders can be cautious about certain things common in older Merseyside housing: non-standard construction, previous underpinning, flying freeholds in terraces, short lease lengths on conversions, and the odd bit of unlisted alteration. None of these are automatically a problem, but they do narrow which lenders will look at you.
